Questions

Does FormWatcher submit fake enquiries to my website?
A free public scan never does. It fills your form in and checks the Submit control is reachable, then stops — we will not create a real enquiry on a website we have not been given permission to test. Once you verify you own the site, you can opt in to full end-to-end submission with a recognisable test lead.
Will this affect my website analytics?
Our browser identifies itself as FormWatcher in its user agent, so you can filter it out of your analytics. Test data we enter is clearly labelled as a test and uses reserved phone numbers that cannot reach a real person.
Can FormWatcher test Calendly, HubSpot and similar tools?
We recognise Calendly, HubSpot Meetings, Microsoft Bookings, Acuity, Cal.com, SavvyCal, TidyCal and YouCanBook.me. For those we check the widget loads and offers selectable times. We never make a real booking automatically.
Does this replace uptime monitoring?
No. Uptime tools tell you the page responded. FormWatcher tells you a customer could actually use it. Most teams want both.
Does it require code on my site?
No. Everything is done from the outside, the same way a visitor experiences your site.
What if my forms use CAPTCHA?
We do not attempt to bypass bot protection. Where a journey needs human verification we mark it as requiring human verification rather than as a failure — an unknown result is never reported as a broken website.
